One of my favorite things to do is to listen to the relaxing sound of waves breaking onto the beach.  There is nothing as soothing as falling asleep while listening to the gentle rolling of the waves. Palomino Island is a small island, 102 acres, located east of Puerto Rico, densely populated with iguanas and tall coconut trees.  Its pure white sandy beaches, nature trails, and relaxing atmosphere make it one of my favorite places to visit.  In this painting, I concentrated on abstracting the subject matter, allowing the viewer to experience peaceful solitude.
