In 2004, I started painting at the Arkansas Arts Center Museum School. After having children and a successful career, I decided to indulge my creative side and nourish my soul through art. The genesis of this exploration awakened a thirst to find my voice and allowed me to share my life story visually. For this painting, I selected letters from Genesis 1 to convey the emotions and thrills I felt at the dawning of a new love in my life.
