A few years ago, a friend was sick, and I was trying to think of a way to cheer her up. So, I asked her to come to my studio to make bracelets. We had the best time with the simplest things: looking at beads, trying to find colors that went together, and playing without care. Pure joy! I often think about those moments when I need a little pick-me-up.
This monoprint series highlights a thousand reasons for joy! They were created from items found in my studio or as I walked or hiked. Each one reminds me that joy lingers in the smallest of places.
